elea Talent Program

The elea Talent Program (eTP) is directed towards motivated and talented university graduates. As an Associate at elea you will get exposure to the global entrepreneurship sphere and gain work experience in different countries across the globe, while at the same time experience training, coaching, and continuous support from the whole elea team.

In 2026, elea is recruiting its first cohort in South Africa, a significant milestone in strengthening our global team. By developing local talent with close connections to the markets we work in, we both enhance our ability to identify, understand, and support entrepreneurial solutions where they matter most, and create meaningful employment opportunities in the region. The South Africa cohort will join elea in January 2027. Going forward, the elea Talent Program recruits across our three hubs in Johannesburg, Mexico City, and Zurich. At the beginning of each year, elea will announce which location will open recruitment for the upcoming cohort, along with details on the application process.

Over the course of two years, you will be exposed to all functions across the whole elea model:

  • Ability to assess companies by analyzing their business model, financial performance, and potential impact
  • Understanding and application of different types of investment mechanisms
  • Significant improvement of soft and hard skills through training programs, on-the-job learning, and coaching
  • Holistic understanding of all aspects of elea's operations
  • Personal growth and identification of the most suitable specialization path within elea

Applicants should
have ...

  • ... an above average degree (Bachelor or Honours)
  • … a valid work permit for South Africa
  • ... excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • ... proficiency in English, additional languages spoken on the African continent are an advantage
  • ... ideally gained leadership experience in an academic, professional, or extracurricular setting
