Partnering for lasting impact

Structured partnerships with companies and foundations that channel your organization’s capital, talent, and expertise into a decisive contribution to poverty alleviation

Tailored to your company

For several years, we have been able to count on the support of companies such as Accenture Switzerland within our circle of philanthropic investors. Acting as a bridge builder between internationally active companies and impact ventures in emerging economies, we enable credible corporate social responsibility contributions and structured, multi-month talent engagements with our portfolio ventures.

This goes beyond the traditional boundaries between core business, corporate social responsibility, and employee volunteering, which reflects a broader shift in how the private sector puts its expertise to work for social impact.

Benefits for your company

Every partnership takes shape around your goals, and each one is different. Let’s talk about what fits yours goals.

  • Talent engagement: Deploying professional expertise directly into portfolio ventures through structured, multi-month assignments
  • Talent development: Growing high-potential employees and senior management within entrepreneurially demanding and culturally diverse contexts
  • Business relevance: Engaging with innovative ventures in emerging markets with future business potential
  • Transparent impact: Receiving a clear, credible statement of your portfolio’s, and therefore your company’s, direct social impact

Corporate engagement in practice

In 2025, Accenture teamed up with Rutopía in Mexico to develop RutoPilot, an AI-enabled tool that helps travel specialists to design itineraries and generate quotes faster and more accurately. The tool prioritizes high-impact communities and more remote destinations, so that growth reinforces rather than dilutes Rutopía’s social and environmental mission.

RutoPilot is set to remove manual quote generation, which will allow the team to handle significantly more bookings, creating a scalable path to impact.

Achieving more together as foundations

Collaborating with other charitable foundations is particularly powerful for us, as they are in a strong position to support and drive innovative solutions. To further expand our capacities in the fight against absolute poverty, we partner with foundations that share our ambition in philanthropic impact investing. These partnerships enable a mutual exchange of know-how and unlock additional, diversified impact capital that flows into entrepreneurial solutions for people living in absolute poverty.

Benefits of a partnership

Every foundation partnership looks different, but they tend to share the following:

  • Mutual know-how exchange: Regular exchange of insights, research, and pipeline opportunities that strengthen both organizations
  • Diversified impact capital: Access to additional capital channels that are directed toward proven, high-impact ventures
  • Ecosystem building: Ability to jointly shape and strengthen the impact investing ecosystem in your region of focus
  • Established track record: Partnership with an organization that has been pioneering philanthropic impact investing since 2006

Partnerships in action:

Fourfold Foundation

In April 2024, we entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with Fourfold Foundation. We share a common belief that entrepreneurship is the primary catalyst for change and progress, and that investing in innovative entrepreneurial solutions is among the most promising responses to the broad challenges of our time. As strategic partners, we aim to build on our existing work to become the partner of choice for impact companies, philanthropic investors, and ambitious talent. Together, we aspire to take a leading position in the global impact investing ecosystem to effectively fight absolute poverty and make a positive difference to the lives of millions of people.

The partnership with elea enables Fourfold to take a bold step towards philanthropic impact investing. We are expanding Fourfold’s reach by supporting talented entrepreneurs in developing innovative and sustainable solutions that put people and the planet at the center.

Asia Community Foundation

The Asia Community Foundation (ACF) and elea joined forces in November 2024 to support impact entrepreneurs and advance the philanthropic impact investing ecosystem in Southeast Asia. At the core of the newly created philanthropic “Investing in Entrepreneurs for Impact Fund” is the provision of capital for the further development and expansion of our portfolio of impact ventures in Asia. In addition to further developing philanthropic impact investing in Asia, the fund seeks to build on elea’s pioneering expertise and to shape a robust ecosystem and network in the region.

Philanthropic impact investing offers a transformative approach to addressing poverty. We are excited to partner with elea, a global leader in this field. Our partnership combines ACF’s mission to catalyze funding with elea’s expertise and brings donors on an experiential giving journey.

Livelihood Impact Fund

The partnership with Livelihood Impact Fund, whose mission is to meaningfully and durably improve the lives of the global poor, is an exciting milestone for elea. It marks the expansion of the elea Philanthropic Investors’ Circle to the US. Besides a tailored portfolio of investments in selected elea impact ventures, Livelihood Impact Fund and elea engage in regular exchanges to share interesting opportunities, connections, and research that could further develop both organization’s pipelines.

Through this partnership, we are delighted to build on elea’s expertise and portfolio to further improve livelihoods across Sub-Saharan Africa.
